In 2003, I founded a translation and localization company in South Florida, but after selling the business in 2007, I realized that my heart was set on something bigger. I decided to pursue my master’s degree in business—a dream I had held for over 20 years. It wasn’t easy. There were long days, sleepless nights, and many sacrifices, but when I finally received my MBA, I knew I was ready for the next chapter.
As I ventured into real estate, I discovered something that truly resonated with me. I realized that my years of business and marketing experience could help not only buyers and sellers but also fellow agents. The thrill of real estate wasn’t just in the transactions—it was in the connections, the marketing strategies, and the opportunity to build something meaningful for others.
With my marketing expertise, I mastered the balance of online, offline, and social media exposure, and that mix became the foundation for my success.
Even as my business flourished, I knew I wanted to keep evolving. Much like my transition from Colombia to the United States, I decided to start fresh. I moved back to South Florida, where I expanded my real estate focus, ventured into new markets, and added passive income streams to my portfolio. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. I built my business back up from the ground and found a way to thrive again.
Today, I continue to chase time freedom and a balanced life, while also empowering others in real estate to do the same. My journey has been filled with hard work, but it’s also been a testament to the power of perseverance, passion, and never being afraid to start over when needed. If you can dream it, you can achieve it.
